25/08/2012 - Invercargill - The release of the Heritage Tray™ keeps Calder Stewart in step with the construction industry by providing an economical yet decidedly attractive profile designed specifically for New Zealand settings. Based on the seamless look and feel of our Euro-Tray™ product line, first released and installed at the Milford Sound Visitors Centre in 1992, Heritage Tray™ requires no additional plywood substrate to install, thus reducing overall costs.
Heritage Tray™ was developed under the direction of Technical Manager JIM FENSOM, whose always looking for ways to meet the needs of architects and builders with roofing products designed specifically for New Zealand’s diverse and ever changing climate.
Based on a flat pan tray system, featuring a 25 mm rib, Heritage Tray™ offers an architectural elegance that harkens back to an older alpine board-and-batten style of roof. Nearly identical to its predecessor, Euro-Tray™ Lite, Heritage Tray™ offers a clean modern look through its use of concealed fixings.
Heritage Tray™ addresses a unique market niche - combining elegance with economy - and can be easily integrated with power generating technologies like photo voltaic panel systems which the company has been developing. It can also be roll formed on site - appealing to builders for its ease of use.
