Hornby Quadrant 2: Ready for Development
Phase 2 of Hornby Quadrant Announced
Christchurch - Calder Stewart Development is proud to announce the release of Stage 2 of its Hornby Quadrant industrial and commercial development initiatives. Covering an area of more than 200 hectares, Hornby Quadrant is set to become the new industrial heart of Christchurch. Situated next door to the new Southern Motorway, it is ideally placed for businesses that rely on quick and easy access to the main road network; for example, 10 minutes to the CBD, 20 minutes to Lyttleton Port and 12 minutes to the Christchurch International Airport. Ultimately once the development is completed, the fully integrated business park will have high amenity values and support services including offices, cafés, banks and, potentially, a medical centre.
Stage 1 of the project was a great success attracting companies such as Move Logistics, Maxwell Freight & Logistics and McDowalls Transport. Stage 2 is looking like it will continue this trend - having already secured Foodstuffs’ new South Island Distribution Centre, a new hatchery for Tegel Foods and a bedding factory for Sleepyhead. At present Stage 2 of the project is parceled into 24 separate development sites - which can be modified and combined to suit. Flexible buy or lease options are available.
